Our Center – similar to the nationally renowned John Hopkins and University of Maryland institutes – offers a full range of eye care services for adults and children, including general ophthalmology; cataract evaluation and surgery; laser vision correction; glaucoma diagnosis and treatment; oculoplastic surgery; eyelid surgery; diabetic retinopathy; macular degeneration; low vision rehabilitation; a full service optical center; and, a nationally accredited, fully equipped, state-of-the-art, on-site ambulatory surgery center. Dr. Betancourt and the professional staff of Baltimore Washington Eye Center invite you to visit our offices during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Evening and Saturday appointments are also available. We have two locations. Our primary location is in the Empire Medical Building at 200 Hospital Drive, Suite 600 in Glen Burnie, Maryland (across the street from Baltimore Washington Medical Center), near Interstate 97 and Route 100. For the convenience of our Howard County patients we also have a full-service location in the Riverhill Professional Center in Clarksville, near the intersection of Routes 32 and 108.
